I'm Susan, Your Coaching Partner
I bring a unique blend of experience to my coaching practice. I’m not just a life coach, but also a certified yoga teacher and trained music therapist. My focus is on guiding clients through the complexities of emotionally challenging relationships and life situations. I specialize in working with individuals facing emotional immaturity, narcissism, and emotional abuse, equipping you with the tools to set healthy boundaries and build the resilience needed to move forward into a space of self-love and personal growth.
Throughout my life, I’ve taken on various roles—music therapist, 911 operator, legal assistant, small business owner, mom of two boys with autism spectrum disorder and depression, cub scout volunteer, and student. I’ve experienced the high highs and the low lows of balancing a career with motherhood and challenges and eventual freedom from emotional abuse. All of these experiences have given me a deep understanding of the need to be able to observe our outer world and adjust our inner world accordingly.

I Felt Like I Needed To Escape My Life
To Improve It
I ignored my own feelings. Judged myself and others harshly, and I was a worrier.
For a long time, I struggled to even recognize my own feelings. The only emotions I could identify were exhaustion, overwhelm, or anger—everything else was just a blur of numbness. But when it came to the emotions of those around me, I was incredibly perceptive. It was like a superpower; I could sense what others were feeling and knew exactly what they needed, even though I was completely lost when it came to understanding my own needs or how to fulfill them.
I was my own harshest critic. The internal dialogue that played in my mind was relentless, filled with self-doubt and negativity. If anyone could have heard the things I told myself, it would have been a shocking revelation.
I lived in a constant state of anxiety, always waiting for the other shoe to drop. If worrying were a national sport, I would have been an Olympic gold medalist. My life was consumed by trying to control the uncontrollable, and it left me feeling stuck and powerless.
But through my own journey of healing and self-discovery, I’ve learned to identify and honor my feelings, break free from the cycle of worry, and embrace a life filled with compassion—for myself and for others. Now, I’m dedicated to helping others navigate their own journeys toward emotional freedom and self-empowerment.
None of These Things Helped Make Me Happy.
I was overweight, in a difficult marriage, suffering with depression, dealing with a chronically ill child who also had depression and I was seeking answers. Years of therapy, self-help books, yoga, working with coaches, and more. I eventually even got certified as a yoga teacher and life coach.
